It’s really very easy, affordable, and fun! Savor the last few weeks of the oyster season with this simple yet flavor-full dish. This is a super simple and absolutely delicious recipe. Store live oysters in the refrigerator at 40 degrees F. if they are not to be used immediately. Place them deep side down (to retain their juices) in an open container. Cover the oysters with a damp towel or layers of damp newspaper. Oyster store this way will keep up to 5 to 7 days.

- 1 dozen fresh Motts Channel Seafood Oysters on the half shell
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 4-6 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a microwave place the butter in a micro safe dish along with the garlic and cook until the butter has melted.
- Place the oysters on a foil covered baking sheet and spoon a tbs of the butter and garlic mixture over each oyster.
- Add a tbs of the grated Parmesan over each oyster.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and browned slightly.
- Garnish with the chopped parsley.
