Registration is Open. Fishing Enthusiasts Wanted. 

Registration is now open for the Fish For Mandie 2nd Annual Memorial Fishing Tournament. The event will be held on September 28-30 and will once again be hosted by Motts Channel Seafood in Wrightsville Beach, NC.

“We are thrilled with the level of interest in it,” said Alison Long, co-owner of Motts Channel Seafood and Fish for Mandie board of directors member. “We are hoping to double the amount of boat entries this year.”

50% of all entry fees will go towards The Mandie Phillips Memorial scholarship fund. The remaining 50% will be divided between the tournament winners.

This year’s fishing divisions are as follows:

Inshore Fishing Division – Flounder, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Drum – $150.00

Offshore Fishing Division – Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi, King Mackerel – $300.00

Inshore and Offshore Combination Division- $400

Important Dates for all anglers are as follows:

Captain’s Meeting:  September 28th

(One member from each boat crew expected to attend. Event includes dinner and live music).

Live music by Guitarist/Vocalist Mark Daffer – presented by Medtronic/ Chris Lacy

Tournament Dates: September 29th and 30th

Lines In: 8:00 a.m. | Lines Out: 3:00 p.m.

Post Tournament Party: September 30th
